Opening files and viewing media
The following list provides links to software that you can download and install for free in order to play or view files available on TKI.
Documents
.pdf (Portable Document Format) documents can be viewed with Adobe Reader.
.doc (Microsoft® Word documents) can be viewed with LibreOffice.
.xls (Microsoft® Excel spreadsheets) files can be viewed with LibreOffice or Excel viewer.
.ppt (Microsoft® PowerPoint presentations) can be viewed with LibreOffice.
Music and video
.mp3 (MPEG-1 Audio file) audio files can be played in most media players, including VLC Player, Windows Media Player or QuickTime Player.
.mov (QuickTime movies) and .flv (Flash Video Player movies) can be played in some media players, including VLC Player or QuickTime.
