New Zealand Sign Language Week 7–13 May 2018

This year’s NZSL Week theme is ‘NZSL is for Everyone’.

NZSL Week raises awareness of New Zealand’s Deaf community and provides a platform for Deaf people to proudly promote their language and culture.

Bullying-Free NZ Week runs from 14-18 May 2018

The theme this year is "Let's talk about it!" to encourage conversations between children, young people and the adults around them and to get the whole community talking about the issue.

A competition has also been designed for children and young people to create, develop, and promote bullying prevention messages through creative media, in line with this year’s theme.
